Even though manual model calibration is the traditional approach, automated parameter estimation is certainly more powerful. The course will cover an introduction to the theoretical aspects of inverse modeling and the use of the PEST and bgaPEST packages for automated model calibration.Course details are available at its Syllabus. The course will be held at the Department of Engineering and Architecture of the University of Parma.Students interested in attending the course can register until November 10, by sending an e-mail to marco.doria@unipr.it
